Maintenance and upkeep of servo feeders

The NC feeder is a high-precision mechanical device, featuring easy operation, high feeding accuracy, low failure rate and long service life. However, no matter how good the machine is, it cannot do without daily maintenance and upkeep. Doing a good job in daily and regular maintenance is the key to ensuring its long-term stable performance. Its maintenance mainly focuses on the following aspects

I. Daily maintenance and upkeep:

1. Daily lubrication and drainage of Zhanmeng NC servo Feeding Machine

1) Lubrication: Apply gear grease to the gear part of the NC feeding roller and replenish or replace the gear oil.

2) Drainage: After long-term operation, a large amount of water will accumulate in the three-point combination of the NC feeder, affecting its normal operation. At this time, it is necessary to press or rotate the button above the collector to remove the excess water.

2. Inspection items for the maintenance of Zhanmeng NC servo feeding Machine

1) Check whether the timer of the NC feeding machine is working properly.

2) Remove the dirt between the rollers.

3) Check if there are any foreign objects between the gears of the NC feeder?

4) Check whether the oil and gas pressure is normal, whether the pressure gauge indicates normally, and visually inspect whether the pressure indicated by the pressure gauge is normal.

5) Check whether there is any leakage in the air pressure supply system. 6) Check whether the screws and nuts that connect the various mechanical structures are loose.

7) Whether the parallelism between the feeding rollers is good (whether both the upper and lower rollers are tightly fitted when the feeding rollers are closed).

8) Check whether there is any damage, deformation, abnormal sound or other operational abnormality in each part of the NC feeder.

9) Check if there are any abnormal conditions on the switches and indicator lights on the NC feeding machine operation panel.Ii. Regular maintenance and upkeep:

After the NC feeding machine has been in use for six months or has been running for 1,000 hours, in addition to conducting daily maintenance and inspection, the following inspection items must also be carried out:

1. Inspection of the external power supply wiring of the NC.

Check the external power supply wiring of the NC to see if there is any deformation, damage, leakage or short circuit.

2. Check the operation switches on the NC operation panel.

1) Inspect the buttons on the panel to see if the contacts are conducting and if there is any oil stain adhering to them.

2) Is there any angular motion in the buttons on the operation panel

3. Inspection of the punch press CAM \ n

1) Check whether the CAM rotates and moves normally.

2) Check whether there is any oil stain on the CAM.

3) Check if there is any wear on the contact parts.

4. Internal inspection of the NC feeding machine control box: Check if the wire ends are in good contact and if the relays are working properly.

5. Check whether the piping and other components of the hydraulic machine are in good condition.

6. Check the NC servo system to see if there is any dust adhering. Whether the cooling fan is in good condition.

There is a cooling fan in the control box of the NC feeding machine, which is used to protect the NC servo motor from overheating. There is a filter in the cooling fan to protect the fan from dust. If the filter is clogged with dust, the function of the cooling fan will fail, and the temperature of the control box will rise rapidly, causing damage to the control circuit and even the motor. Therefore, during regular inspections, it is essential to check the filter, clean it or replace it if necessary. If the clogging of the filter occurs frequently, the external working environment of the NC needs to be improved.

Special note:

1. If it is necessary to terminate the work or make adjustments to certain parts of the device, please turn off the power first.

2. If inspecting or repairing the air pressure device of the servo feeder, please be sure to stop the air compressor first and remove the remaining air.

3. If it is necessary to inspect or adjust the electromagnetic, pressure devices, starters, etc., it must be carried out by professionals.
